Hey, I’m McKinley!

I’m a full-time history nerd and confused college student who threw herself head first into the world, with no clue how this adulting thing is supposed to work. Currently, I’m attending college in Rome, Italy, pursing a degree in Classical Studies. I’ve never been outside of the United States alone before so, honestly, I’m not sure how my years abroad are going to go. And isn’t that the magic of it?

Here, I’ll share with you my fun and often awkward stories of life abroad, travel tips that I’ve found along the way, some photos and how new experience can help change anyone for the better, even an introvert like me.
